Commonly asked questions about healing.

 How many sessions will I need?
Sometimes one session will be sufficient, sometimes several may be needed. If you are experiencing healing for the first time, it may take you two or three sessions to relax into the process and enjoy the full benefit. The amount of healing needed really depends on the individual and what you would like to achieve from the healings.

Do I need to be ill to receive healing?
No. Healing is often about restoring balance to your life and relationships with others, about expressing feelings, about change and the need for it. It often helps bring a sense of proportion and perspective and a greater feeling of 'feet on the ground', of regaining power in your life, irrespective of whether or not you are ill. It can be especially helpful in crisis situations, it is also very helpful within a terminal illness. There really are so may benefits to natural healing. It can stand alone as a therapy, has no harmful side effects and works well with any other therapy.

It is a process above all that helps you help yourself.

Healing balances and cleanses your chakra's, it helps you to let go of negativity, past life issue's, trauma, post traumatic stress disorders and generally just brings more clarity and happiness to your life.

It can also be used to enhance your psychic abilities and connection with the spirit realms if that is your desire.

Do I need faith?
No. It doesn't matter what religion (if any) or beliefs you have. Healers work from a wide range of philosophies and many simply see their ability as a natural resource. Nothing special is expected of the patient, however perhaps an open mind and heart and a degree of trust in the healer certainly helps. An awareness of the need for change and the motivation to do so can also be very helpful.

Readings 

I use angel cards as a guide, but as I work as a Psychic Medium and not just as a Psychic, most of my messages are passed on to me from spirit, my guides, the clients guides as well as the clients loved one's in spirit.

Readings can be taped at no extra charge, so feel free to bring a tape with you if you like.

Reiki

 According to Reiki philosophy, illnesses are caused by energy blockages in the body. The practitioner draws upon the universal energy and lays their hands on or over the patient. The energy then flows from the practitioner's hands to the patient's body and moves the blockages that are causing the illness. There is no manipulation, massage, acupressure or any other form of manual therapy performed on the patient. Reiki can, therefore, be considered as a spiritual 'laying of hands' style of treatment. Reiki is an effective form of healing therapy for a wide range of disorders - emotional, physical or spiritual.

Reiki is based on the premise that universal energy flows through all living things. When blockages occur, this energy cannot flow freely through the body. An experienced Reiki practitioner can tap into the universal energy and channel energy to move these blockages. With these blockages removed, it is claimed, the body cells are then prompted to heal naturally.

The patient sits or lies comfortably, fully clothed. The practitioner first harmonises themselves with the universal energy, then places their hands on or over the patient's body at 12 key areas. The transfer of universal energy is experienced by the patient as a warmth or tingling. Many patients report feeling relaxed or refreshed after treatment.

Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle, yet powerful method of healing. Reiki energy, (described as `universal life energy' or `spiritual energy') which is accessed by the practitioner during a treatment, enhances the body's natural healing ability and promotes wellbeing.

Reiki treatment stands on its own as a healing practice and is also safely used to support orthodox and complementary medicine. It is increasingly accepted in health and community care facilities including hospitals, hospices and cancer support units.

 A few of the many disorders that will benefit from reiki include: Stress-related disorders, such as headache and insomnia. Serious disorders, such as coronary heart disease and cancer, asthma. Emotional problems, such as depression, anxiety. Skin problems and allergies. Low immunity. Chronic pain. Poor circulation.

Crystal therapy

 Crystals have been used through history for healing due to the high and very powerful vibration that crystals hold. Crystals work well with the human energy field, they can move, absorb, focus, direct and diffuse energy within the body. When the body is unwell or diseased it is usually because the person has in some way, lost their balance/natural rhythm. Working with crystalline energy helps the body to find that natural rhythm again. The crystal's perfect atomic structure, gives out a resonance of perfection, a pattern for the body to follow. By attuning to and channelling Divine healing energy and using the crystals as a powerful healing tool a wonderful healing vibration is achieved. Crystal Therapy can assist with deep Relaxation, self development, stress relief, improved self confidence, focus, self awareness, balance between mind, body & spirit. Life path, creativity, spiritual development, clearer communication between Self and Others, self empowerment and responsibility, moving through change. Clearing and balancing all of the chakra's and clearing and cleansing the aura, removing blockages, disease and emotional imbalances.

The intension is that each patient receives that which is for their highest good and in "tune" with their healing journey at this time.

During the crystal healing session you will be asked to lie on a massage table. No removal of clothing is required, only your shoes, for your own comfort. Music will be playing softly to help you relax. The healer will be guided by intuition as to where and what type's of crystals need to be used and where they need to be placed. Crystals will be placed on or around you, in some instances a combination of both.

Hot and cold Stone Treatments

Hot Stone Massage is a truly relaxing treatment using hot stones of varying sizes on parts of the body - from the forehead to between the toes - giving a deep massage and creating a sensation of warmth and comfort.

The heat from the stones feels great and is also wholly therapeutic - helping detox the body and relaxing the nervous system. The stones used are smooth, volcanic basalt that retain their heat on the body for as long as possible.

Smooth cool crystals are then used after the heat of the hot stones to stimulate the body leaving you feeling completely refreshed and invigorated.

 They can take away lifelong pains and discomfort, returning the body to its rightful balance. The treatment, brings about a chemical release within the body's system, to balance and recharge ourselves, releasing tension / toxins and connecting with the power and peace of life. This therapy will keep working for up to seventy two hours after the treatment has been applied. The treatment enables the body to heal itself, it sets off a chain reaction within the body. The treatment stimulates the nervous system, to work the muscles and increase the blood supply, therefore eliminating the toxins out of the body through the lymph system.

The cold stones are used to relieve tension and negativity from the body. The idea of the cold stones may not be appealing but you will soon understand their benefit to the session. They are every bit as relaxing and balancing for the client. This therapy not alone works on the physical body but energetically also. Benefits of each application:

The application of heat: 1. Causes widening of the blood vessels which increases blood flow. Increases circulation for the body to process and cleanse. Increased metabolism, all organs are worked to optimum levels and much more efficiently. Increased pulse rate. Increased lymph function, bodies waste disposal system works to eliminate toxins and cleanse. Reduces muscle tightness. Sends us into a deeply relaxed state. The application of cold: The blood vessels narrow pushing the blood away from the area or injury. Producing an analgesic effect, the body releases a natural pain-relief substances known as prostaglandin into the muscle, this in turn can, reduce swelling, relieve painful cramps, relieve tension, relieve the build up of toxins under the skin or in the muscles. Provides a shock effect with the temperature applied, when receiving this shock our body takes in a deep breath, oxygenating the blood. Inhibits the release of necrosin, this is a natural chemical which destroys tissue. Usually if a muscle is damaged and unattended, this chemical continues deterioration. Reduces Inflammation, a damaged muscle will swell and the cold reduces this process.

A balance is required: heat relaxes and cold invigorates, heat pulls blood to the surfaces of the skin and cold pushes it away, heat increases the flow where as cold decreases. This application is known as thermotherapy.

This is my only treatment that requires the removal of clothes (just the top half) you will be covered with a towel during the entire treatment and your modesty respected at all times. Relaxation, not shyness is all that is needed for this session

 Can be purchased in either spray or bottle form. These powerful elixirs are amazing healers. I make these essences up with my wide range of very powerful cleansed and charged healing crystals, I am blessed to have the assistance of Archangel Rapheal (the head healing angel) as well as many other healing angels with me during all my treatments and these essences are no exception. Every essence made is also charged with reiki healing energy. Very, very powerful. These can be taken as drops placed under your tongue daily, sprayed into your "space" or around your aura, or put into your bath water. These can be purchased from me in person, or sent in the mail.
